Abstract of the event:
Liang Wen Fu, Stefanie Sun: Die die must come!Liang Wen Fu was the brilliant
mind behind the 2002 National Day Parade theme song “We Will Get There”, the
song which Stefanie Sun performed. In a kind of weird coincidence, both of them
fell sick on the same night – the night of the Singapore Hit Awards 2007!
Regardless of that, their support for the show is much too strong for a little
sickness to deter! Like what Stef said, “I’d crawl here if I had to!”Stefanie Sun: “Against the Light” – Album of the Year. Stef was an all excited and bouncy young girl, skipping onstage to receive her Album of the Year award, thanking her parents, and saying that the music industry is not at its best now, and that the most important thing was to do one’s best… Our local songbird Stef was still performing the night before in China, and after many hours of journey by bus to the airport, she was only able to attend the event 40 minutes late. She said that she had fallen ill, and that her “voice isn’t very nice” but she still looks quite nice!
